The Hauschild company from Stralau, near Berlin Germany, created a Pneumatic Mail system between the main postoffice and the stockexchange. The system has been commissioned on 7 July 1898 (reference).
In 1927 (probably built earlier), according to a reference list from the German company Mix & Genest AG, Abteilung Rohrpost und Förderanlagen in Berlin-Schöneberg, Rotterdam had access to a Pneumatic Tube Mail system with two stations and a tube length of 1.400 meters. It wasn't large, but still...
I wonder if both are the same installation? Has the Hauschild company been taken over by the Mix & Genest company?
