About The Website Pneumatic.Tube

The website Pneumatic.Tube (before BUISPOST.EU) started out as a hobby collecting everything that has to do with Pneumatic Tube Systems, but it grows into a large online library filled with information and images about the Pneumatic Tube System in the widest sense of the word. This website is an online or virtual museum and is unique in its kind!

Goal of the website

With the website I want to educate and entertain people with information about the past, the present and the possible future of the Pneumatic Tube System so that this transport technology is not forgotten.

With Pneumatic.Tube I want to share my collection with others. Definitely not for financial gain, but to let interested parties also enjoy it!

The website has lots of expenses, i.e. the domain name, the web server, the purchase of images and other things related to the Pneumatic Tube Systems, etc. All expenses are paid out of own resources.

The website isn't sponsored by any third party company or organization. Pneumatic.Tube is a private initiative and making money is certainly NOT a goal of the website!

Most images at the website are readily available in various places on the internet and believed to be in public domain. Images posted are believed to be posted within our rights according to the Copyright Fair Use Act.

All of the texts and images posted on this website are for educational purposes only.
In no way Pneumatic.Tube claims the rights to any media that is shown, discussed and shared on this site. The material is copyright to the original owners and rightfully belongs to them.

If you believe that any content appearing on Pneumatic.Tube infringes on your copyright, please contact me as soon as possible and the infringing material will be removed immediately upon request.

Images are in the public domain when its copyright has expired (This applies to Australia, the European Union and those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years), been forfeited, or are inapplicable.
I don't claim to have copyright to these (and other) images, even though the websites content management system might place automatically a watermark on it.

In my daily job as a technician in a large University Hospital I came in contact with the use of Pneumatic Tube Systems. Working with these systems made me enthusiastic about everything that has to do with this interesting technology.

Due to my illness I can't work anymore, with this website I still have a bit of the good old days :)
